I had been torn about posting this for a while. Over the years I have changed the way I have done things with my business.  I had started from "shooting and burning" to doing a LOT of research and creating great print packages offered through myself and the professional labs I work with. Over these years I have printed my pictures with just about everything out there from your one hour photo labs (that I myself used to work at many years ago), to online labs, to the professional labs I currently use.  Well here is my one and ONLY reason for why I use my professional labs.  You ready?  It's QUALITY.

I work long hours editing my client's sessions.  That means I comb through their images and will make sure the coloring is spot on and imperfections are cleaned up and so on and so forth.  So why would it be OK for my clients to print their portraits at the labs who really don't care what I do?  Now when my clients order through me they are getting my stamp of approval on what my labs print.  I will know that my client's along with their friends and family members are all seeing my true work.  

I've tried explaining this to people before and I guess it comes down to this.  Maybe seeing is believing.  I hope, heck I PRAY that everyone can see the difference between my original edited image and what a one hour lab did to my hard work.

Now I get there will always be those who want things well, cheaper.  That's fine, there are plenty of photographers out there willing to be that for you.  But my goal with my business is to be that person who will always offer you the best portraits I can give along with the best quality products and prints that will last a life time.   -Amanda
