I enjoy getting to know my clients before their session, so I will either have an in person meet and greet or I will schedule an appointment over the phone to learn about the people I'm going to capture.
 


 

FAQ's
 

Do you have a price list?

      Yes, please e-mail me via the contact page (located at the top) for the current price lists.

 

We would love for you to capture us, how do we go about doing that?
 

Wonderful!  Please give me a call at (850)420-1288 or go to my contact page and send me an e-mail.  I require a signed contract and your nonrefundable retainer to hold your selected date.  Both must be done in order to reserve your date. 
 

How far in advance should we book?
 

At minimum 4-6 weeks for family sessions. 
 

Maternity and newborn a minimum of 3 to 4 months.  This gives me enough time to customize your session, have certain props and locations available, and can plan for any changes in delivery dates. 
 

Do you travel?
 

Yes!  I work in both central California and on the Emerald Coast of Florida.  Depending on the location, travel may include airfare, car rental, accommodations, hotel, and food costs.
 

What do we wear?

This will be discussed during our first consultation.

 

Can I bring my pet to my session?

I love fur babies.  However, not all locations allow them.  If your location allows them, I would be more than happy to photograph them.  Please let me know when you are booking your appointment if you would like to add your pet(s).

 

Do you have a referral program?

Yes! I offer a $50 referral print credit for every 2 clients you refer that books a session with me.  Print credits will be given after the referred client's session has been completed.
 

What if it rains?  What if one of us becomes ill?

If you must cancel your session due to illness or other personal emergencies, please do your best to provide Memories by Amanda Lee Photography with 48 hours notice so that your session time can be made available for other clients.  Failure to provide adequate notice of a cancellation or multiple rescheduling will result in forfeiture of your retainer, and another retainer fee will be required to hold your new date.
 

If a session is cancelled because of severe weather, I will gladly reschedule your session one time for a future date.

 

What should I do before our session to help ensure everything goes as smoothly as possible?

For children please make sure they get their regular nap. Also please make sure they have a snack before your session because sessions are usually scheduled around dinner time so they may become fussy. For their clothing please change them when you arrive at your session, so please make sure you leave enough time before your session to do so. This helps with wrinkles to clothing items and possible accidents from happening.

For newborns I suggest you feed them before your session. Don't change them into their clothes until you arrive, so please make sure you leave enough time before your session as well.  This will make sure your babies outfit stays as clean as possible.

Most importantly don't stress.  Children easily pick up on this.  If I feel that your child is beginning to feel stressed I will take a time out with them so we can play and have some fun.  Please bring special toys or blankets that you think your child will enjoy.

For women, please bring makeup or hairspray for touch ups. Also please make sure nail polish is either fresh or nails are natural.  No touch ups will be made on chipped nail polish.  

For everyone, please make sure that no bulky watches, hair ties, brightly colored silicone bracelets are on wrists. Empty pockets are highly preferred.   
 

We had a great time during our session.  Now what happens?
 

I'm so glad you had a great time!  Now that your session is over and editing has begun here is what happens next.  I will schedule your in person viewing appointment 2 weeks after your session.  You will get to view all of your edited images from your session and all orders from your session will take place during this appointment.  This appointment will last approximately 1 hour long, I suggest not bringing your children to this appointment if at all possible.  I also suggest bringing all individuals who wish to place an order (or have input on your session) there.  If they cannot attend, a phone consultation can be scheduled in conjunction with an online proofing portal. The gallery will be available for two weeks after your in person viewing appointment.  If the gallery needs to be extended for any reason, a fee of $30 will be charged for each additional 7 days. 
 

Do you have a minimum print order?
 

Yes, there is $150 minimum print order required for in person viewing appointments.
 

How many photos can we expect to see?
 

At your appointment following your session you can expect to view 30-50 images from your session, depending on the type of session you have.
 

Do you offer digital files or "disc" of images?
 

Digital files are not included with your session fee.  They can however be purchased individually, in print packages or all together on a USB. 
 

How long will it take to receive my order?
 

The delivery of products will take anywhere from 2-4 weeks depending on the type of products you purchase. Additionally, ordering of requested merchandise also depends on the approval of images by the client.
 

How long will you keep images from my session on file for re-orders?
 

Images you purchased at your ordering appointment will be kept on file for 6 months after the first viewing of images.  Unordered images may be purged after 60 days.
